Habit Plan is published on Google Play under the developer name Jovena Labs and is operated by Sagar Acharya, an individual developer based in Nepal.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Habit Plan processes, how that information is used, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.
For privacy questions, account deletion requests, or other data-related concerns, contact:
Information Stored on Your Device
Habit Plan is designed so that your main productivity information remains stored locally on your device.
This includes:
- Habits and habit history
- Notes
- To-do tasks
- Focus-session records
- App preferences and settings
- Other productivity information you enter into the app
Habit Plan does not store this information in a Habit Plan cloud database. If you turn on the optional Google Drive Sync on the Profile page, Habit Plan saves a backup to a private app data folder in your own Google Drive and uses it to merge your habits and sticky notes across devices. Google Drive Sync is off by default and can be turned off or deleted at any time.
Because this information is stored locally, clearing the app's data, uninstalling Habit Plan, losing your device, or certain device failures may permanently remove it.
Guest Mode
Habit Plan can be used without signing in.
When you use guest mode, Habit Plan does not create a Firebase Authentication account for you.
Guest information is stored locally on your device.
You can remove guest information by using the Delete Guest Data option available from your Profile page.
You may also remove local app information by clearing Habit Plan's app storage or uninstalling the app.
Google Sign In and Firebase Authentication
Habit Plan provides optional Google Sign In using Firebase Authentication.
When you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication may process information associated with your Google Account.
Depending on the information available from Google, this may include:
- Your email address
- Your Firebase User ID
- Your display name
- Your profile information
Habit Plan uses this information to identify your signed-in account and provide account-related functionality.
Habit Plan does not currently support email-and-password accounts or other sign-in providers.
Firebase Analytics
Habit Plan currently includes Firebase Analytics.
Firebase Analytics may collect and process technical and usage information about how the app is used.
Depending on your device and Firebase configuration, this may include:
- Device and app information
- Operating system information
- App-instance or Firebase installation identifiers
- App interactions and usage events
- Approximate geographic information, such as country or region derived from network information
- General technical or diagnostic information
Analytics information is used to understand how Habit Plan is used, monitor technical performance, and improve the reliability and user experience of the app.
The processing and retention of Firebase Analytics information is also subject to Google and Firebase settings, policies, and service requirements.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Habit Plan uses Firebase Cloud Messaging for messaging and notification-related functionality.
Firebase Cloud Messaging may process technical information necessary to provide messaging or notification services.
This may include:
- Firebase installation identifiers
- Registration tokens
- App information
- Other related technical information
Google and Firebase may process this information according to their applicable privacy policies and service requirements.
Google Drive Sync (Optional)
Google Drive Sync is off by default. When you turn it on from the Profile page, Habit Plan requests Google authorization for access only to its own app data folder in your Google Drive.
Habit Plan stores one backup file containing your habit definitions, calendar dates and schedules, reminders, completion history, and sticky notes (including text, colors, pins, and board layout) in that private folder. Habit Plan does not access other files in your Google Drive.
The backup is used to merge your habits and sticky notes across devices signed in to the same Google account and to restore data after reinstalling the app. You can turn off Auto Sync, run a manual sync, or delete the Drive backup at any time from the Google Drive Sync panel on the Profile page. You can also remove Habit Plan's access from your Google Account permissions page.
Panda AI Companion (Optional)
Panda is an optional AI chat companion available only when you are signed in with Google. Guest users cannot send questions to Panda.
Before an account's first Panda question, Habit Plan shows a notice explaining what a question shares. Nothing is sent until you choose Continue.
Each question you send to Panda shares:
- Your message
- The last few messages of the open chat
- A few saved Panda memories, if AI Memory is on
- Matching excerpts of earlier Panda chats, when you ask about past conversations and Past Conversation Recall is on
- Your habit titles, targets, units, today's progress, and reminder times; your to-do task titles and due dates; and your note titles, pin status, and short note previews
- Today's date, weekday, and your device time zone
This information is sent over HTTPS to Habit Plan's AI server, which runs on Cloudflare Workers. The server verifies your Firebase sign-in to confirm your account and count your questions, then forwards the question to one of these third-party AI providers to write the answer: NaraRouter, Groq, OpenRouter, OrcaRouter, or Cloudflare Workers AI. OpenRouter and OrcaRouter may pass the request on to other AI model providers.
Cloudflare processes standard request information, such as your IP address, to deliver requests to Habit Plan's AI server; this is not forwarded to the AI providers.
Your email address, name, and Firebase User ID are not sent to the AI providers. Anything you write in a message, memory, habit, task, or note may be included.
Habit Plan's AI server does not store your messages or Panda's answers. The AI providers process requests, and may retain them, under their own terms and privacy policies, which can differ from this Privacy Policy; some free AI services may use requests to improve their models. Do not send Panda passwords, health details, financial details, or other sensitive information.
To enforce question limits, Habit Plan's AI server stores your Firebase User ID with the number of Panda questions used in each week (or each day for test accounts). These counters contain no message content and are deleted automatically 60 days after the week or day they count.
Panda chats and memories are stored only on your device, separately for each Google account, and are not included in Google Drive backups. You can delete individual chats or memories, turn off AI Memory or Past Conversation Recall in Panda's Memory Settings, or stop using Panda at any time.
How We Use Information
Information processed through Habit Plan is used to provide and maintain the app and its features.
This includes:
- Providing account sign in
- Keeping signed-in and guest experiences separate
- Providing app functionality
- Supporting notifications and messaging-related features
- Understanding app usage and technical performance
- Improving reliability and user experience
- Responding to support and privacy requests
- Processing account deletion requests
- Protecting the app from abuse or security problems
Habit Plan sends information to third-party artificial intelligence providers only when you send a question to the optional Panda AI companion, as described in the Panda AI Companion section.
Smart reminders and similar features currently use local app logic.
Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
Habit Plan does not sell your personal information or share it with third-party advertisers.
Habit Plan uses services provided by Google, Firebase, Cloudflare, and the third-party AI providers named in the Panda AI Companion section.
The current integrations are:
- Firebase Authentication
- Firebase Analytics
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Google Drive (only if you turn on optional Drive Sync)
- Habit Plan's AI server on Cloudflare and the third-party AI providers named in the Panda AI Companion section (only when you send Panda a question)
These services may process information as necessary to provide their respective functions.
Their handling of information is also governed by their own applicable privacy policies, terms, settings, and service requirements.
Habit Plan may also open Google Play or another external service when you choose to use a feature that depends on that service.
Local Data and Backups
The current Habit Plan configuration disables Android cloud backup for app data and is configured to exclude app data from device-transfer backup mechanisms.
Actual behavior may still depend on:
- Android version
- Device manufacturer
- Operating system behavior
- Future platform changes
Habit Plan offers optional Google Drive Sync as described above. You can turn it off or delete the Drive copy at any time.
Other backup or synchronization features may be added in the future, and this Privacy Policy and other relevant disclosures will be updated before or when those features become available.
Exports
Habit Plan currently allows you to export information in:
- PDF format
- CSV format
- JSON backup format
Once an exported file is saved, copied, uploaded, backed up, or shared outside Habit Plan, that file is no longer controlled solely by the app.
You are responsible for managing and protecting exported files after they leave Habit Plan.
Account Deletion
Signed-in users can delete their Habit Plan account directly from the app.
To delete your account from the app
- Open Habit Plan
- Go to Profile
- Scroll to the bottom
- Select Delete Account
- Complete Google verification or re-authentication if requested
- Confirm account deletion
Deleting your Habit Plan account removes the Firebase Authentication account associated with Habit Plan and performs the related local-data cleanup implemented by the app, including Panda chats and memories stored on the device.
Deleting your Habit Plan account does not delete your Google Account or your Google Drive backup. If you use Drive Sync and want the backup removed, delete it from the Google Drive Sync panel on the Profile page before deleting your account, or remove Habit Plan's access in your Google Account.
If you no longer have Habit Plan installed
You can request account deletion by emailing:
Please send the request from the same Google email address used to sign in to Habit Plan whenever possible.
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deletion to help prevent unauthorized deletion requests.
Verified email deletion requests are normally completed within 14 days.
Data Retention
Habit records, notes, to-do tasks, focus-session records, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
They remain on your device until you:
- Delete them
- Use an available deletion option
- Clear the app's storage
- Uninstall Habit Plan
Firebase Authentication information remains associated with your Habit Plan account until the account is deleted or otherwise removed.
Panda question counters are kept on Habit Plan's AI server for 60 days after the week or day they count, then deleted automatically.
Information processed independently by Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google, or other service providers may be retained according to their applicable settings, policies, service requirements, or legal obligations.
Habit Plan does not operate a cloud database containing your habit history, notes, to-do tasks, focus-session history, or preferences. If you turn on optional Google Drive Sync, a backup file is stored in your own Google Drive until you delete it from the Sync panel or remove Habit Plan's access in your Google Account.
Information That May Remain After Account Deletion
Deleting your Habit Plan account does not automatically delete:
- Your Google Account
- PDF, CSV, or JSON files you previously exported
- A Google Drive backup, if you previously turned on Drive Sync, until you delete it from the Sync panel or remove Habit Plan's access in your Google Account
- Files you copied, uploaded, backed up, or shared outside Habit Plan
- Panda question counters, which contain your Firebase User ID but no message content, until they are deleted automatically within 60 days
- Panda questions already sent to third-party AI providers, which those providers handle under their own terms
- Information independently processed or retained by Google or Firebase according to their applicable policies, settings, service requirements, or legal obligations
If you request account deletion by email while Habit Plan remains installed on your device, locally stored information may remain on that device until you use an available local deletion option, clear the app's storage, or uninstall Habit Plan.
Children's Privacy
Habit Plan is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.
If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age or parental permission to use an online service, that requirement also applies.
Habit Plan is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use the service.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable requirements, contact:
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through Habit Plan.
Information transmitted between Habit Plan and Firebase, Google services, or Habit Plan's AI server is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and TLS.
However, no application, device, network, or online service can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your device and Google Account secure and for protecting exported files that you save or share outside Habit Plan.
Current Monetization
Habit Plan is currently provided free of charge and does not contain advertising, paid subscriptions, one-time purchases, or paid features.
If future features change how personal information is processed, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Habit Plan changes, when new features or services are introduced, or when legal or platform requirements change.
When this Privacy Policy is updated, the date at the top of this page will be revised.
Where required, users will be notified of material changes through an appropriate method.
